Day 9: The nicest thing anyone has said to me

This is so hard to answer… I mean I worked at a place where people were so supportive and kind… that i just how camp is. I do remember during a team building exercise, half way through summer, someone tapped my shoulder that they were proud of me. I haven’t heard that very often ever before then. I always tried so hard to please everyone around me through lacrosse, basketball, and field hockey… and it was never enough. It sucked. Another really nice thing was when I was working in the kitchen, and I hadn’t had a chance to shower, my hair was a mess, and the day just sucked, my friend Chris came in and told me that I looked beautiful. I was like “your sarcasm isn’t appreciated…” and he was like “no Hannah, I’m serious.” So that was awesome too. Of all the times I can think of right now, those were most awesome at the time… and still.
